OVERVIEW
With a primary focus on technical development, the goal of Lakeville SC's Winter Academy is to develop more creative players while ensuring a consistent technical/tactical foundation for each age group. With over 500 players last year and increase in licensed staff, you can guarantee development and continued love for the game.
This is a supplement to travel team training sessions that also begin 1x/week in January. Players currently on U9-U12 Academy Teams should not register (1x/week is included in your travel fees).
THIS PROGRAM IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO TRAVEL PLAYERS.

What is Winter Academy?
The purpose of Lakeville Soccer Club Winter Academy is to provide the opportunity for our U9-U12 players to develop a strong technical and tactical foundation. Utilizing our professional and licensed Select Staff, players will be challenged and supported through a program involving a minimum 1,000+ touches per session. You can expect players to become more confident both on and off the ball, while better preparing them for their upcoming Summer Season. Players can expect a fun and exciting experience filled with contests, individual awards, and technical challenges to do at home!
Focus areas will include speed & agility, 1v1 attacking/defending, moves, and small-sided games. Select and Academy Staff coaches will be provided to each age group, and trained in groups based on skill level rather than individual teams. With having them train as one age group, every player receives the same quality training, training numbers will be consistent and allows for individual player growth and movement. At the completion of Academy Training, players will be provided individual evaluations and feedback.
What about Goalkeepers?
Goalkeeper training will not be included in the Winter Academy at Lakeville SC.
We are asking that all GK's attend training sessions provided by our GK Staff included in your travel fees. Please contact

Registration Details
Registration details to be shared mid/late Fall.
Space is limited and we do expect some of the groups to fill quickly. Once a session fills, a wait-list will be formed.
Refund Policy
There will be no refunds issued unless due to injury or family/health related issues. Due to facility cost and staffing, sessions canceled due to weather will also not be refunded or rescheduled.
